The Department staff carries out scientific work in accordance with the State Program of Research “History, Culture, Society, and State” (for 2017) and subprogram “History and Culture” (Pavel A. Vodopyanau, Pyotr M. Burak), both being roof-programs for such scientific and research investigations as: “Optimization of the processes of developing social and ecological priorities of the Belarusian state under conditions of transforming and overcoming stereotypes of the Industrial Epoch”, “Theoretical and methodological basis of innovative development of the Belarusian society under conditions of globalization”.
