Aldebaran is part of the constellation Taurus. It is the right eye of the bull. You may also know this star as the “bull’s Eye.”
Aldebaran is from the Arabic word Al Dabaran, which means the "follower” referring to the way Aldebaran follows the Pleiades star cluster across the sky.
