Getting the Most Out of Your Online Journal

My Subscriptions
Registered users can see all their currently activated subscriptions that are linked to their myLWW user account.


Create Personalized Collections
Member-subscribers can personalize their experience and create their own favorite’s folders specific to their interests. You can save articles, images, and more.


Article Tools
Member-subscribers have a host of article tools available to them to make their journal as useful as possible. You can email an article to a colleague, save as a PDF, export to citation manger, export images to a PowerPoint, and request permissions.


Email Alert System


  • Personalized Alert Management

Member-subscribers will now be able to manage their alert opt-ins directly on the online journal via their ‘My Account’ page. They can add journals to their subscribed list alerts and edit their email preferences quickly and easily!




Member-subscribers can subscribe to eTOC alerts to be notified of their subscribed list of electronic table of contents. Alert recipients will get an email notifying them that there is a new eTOC available for the journal.


  • PAP Alerts

Member-subscribers can subscribe to Published Ahead-of-Print (PAP) alerts to be notified of new PAP content in the journal. Alert recipients will get an email notifying them that there is new PAP content available in the journal.



  • Citation Alerts

Member-subscribers can opt-in to receive an alert notifying them of new citations in ISI for a specific article. Alert recipients receive an email notifying them that their article of interest was cited by a newer article. The email contains links to the source article and the citing article (if it is published by LWW).



  • Topical Collection Alerts
    Member-subscribers can opt to receive a notification of new content appearing in their favorite topical collection. Every time a new article is added to the collection, an email will be sent to the alert recipient showing them what the new content item is with a link back to the collection. A great way to keep up-to-date on specialty areas covered in the journal.



eReader Support
Member-subscribers can use the ePUB Format for retrieving articles specifically for many of the most popular electronic reading devices like Apple iPad, B&N Nook, Sony eReaders and more. Retrieving an ePUB version of an article is as easy as retrieving the PDF. Just take the ePUB and load.
