Pursuant to ARS 38-431.02, notice is hereby given to the members of the Coolidge Unified School District and to the general public that the District’s Governing Board will hold a meeting open to the public on the date, time and place listed above.

II. PUBLIC PARTICIPATION
The Arizona Open Meeting Law allows the Governing Board of Education to hear concerns from parties, but does not allow the Board to discuss or take any action without the item having been part of the regularly posted agenda. The Board may remand the concern to the Superintendent for investigation, action, or recommendation at a future board meeting.

  1. Approval of release time and expenses for overnight travel for teacher Teresa Suan to attend the Design & Modeling Gateway Training June 13-17 in Prescott, Arizona.




  1. Approval of release time and expenses for overnight travel for Jadee Rohner and Elizabeth Skornik, CHS FFA Advisors, and thirteen (13) students to attend the Future Farmers of America (FFA) State Leadership Conference in Tucson, Arizona, Thursday June 2nd thru June 4, 2016.




  1. Approval of overnight travel for Jadee Rohner and Elizabeth Skornik, CHS FFA Advisor and thirteen (13) students to attend the State Leadership Camp June 13-17, 2016 at Camp Shadow Pines in Heber, Arizona.




  1. Approval of overnight travel for Jadee Rohner and Elizabeth Skornik, CHS FFA Advisor, and 8 students to attend the Officer Training Camp Trip to Woods Canyon Lake, June 20-22, 2016.




  1. Approval of expenses and overnight travel for teachers from CHS to attend the Advanced Placement College Board Summer Institutes aligned to their course work, June 21-24th, at Tucson High Magnet School, Tucson, Arizona.




  1. Approval of the proposed course Gateway to Technology (GTT) for the 2016-2017 school year.




  1. Approval of the proposed course Music Technology to begin at the 2016-2017 school year.




  1. Approval of the proposed course Algebra III for the 2016-2017 school year.




  1. Approval of the proposed course Freshman Physics and Honors Freshman Physics, for the 2016-2017 school year.




  1. Approval of the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between Head Start and Coolidge Unified School District, Child Find, for special education services to eligible preschoolers.




  1. Approval of the Intergovernmental Agreement between Pinal County and Coolidge Unified School District to participate in the Pinal County Education Service Constortium for fiscal year 2017.




  1. Approval of the revised job description for Master Teacher for fiscal year 2016-2017.




  1. Approval of the new parent liaison position for fiscal year 2016-2017. The Parent Liaison position will provide an important bridge of communication with the parents of the Native American students in Coolidge Unified School District to promote educational growth and success.




  1. Approval of the service agreement with smartschoolsplus, inc. Contracting with smartschoolsplus, inc allows us to employ a former employee at a reduced cost to the District.




  1. Approval of expenses and overnight travel for the San Tan Foothills High School Golf Team to attend the State Golf Tournament, Friday May 13-14, 2016 in Prescott, Arizona.




  1. Approval of Policy Advisory 536-547, 1st Reading.




  1. Approval of Policy Advisory 548-551, 1st Reading.

  1. Presentation and information from Art Moncibaez, STH Principal, and Robert Edwards, Mountain Vista Middle School and San Tan Foothills High School Pricipal on end of the year accomplishments at their sites.




  1. Presentation and information from Jessica Miller, Director of Curriculum about the 2015-2016 Professional Learning Plan.

  1. Discussion and information on the bond update at West School.




  1. Discussion and possible action to approve the service contract with Imagine Technology Gorup for printer fleet maintenance and Microsoft 365 email hosting services.
