I want to study language course

It was first thing I heard about Germany when I my friend who had a German class at school told about Chocolate Museum in Koln. I got interested at that times to German culture. Then as I continued my study in university, I got German class from third semester. Because of my amazing German teacher and my interest to language I made a pretty good progress in that language. Unfortunately, at the end of the fourth semester my German teacher left the duty and I continued to study in a private language school.

I am third year student at the Uzbekistan World Languages University in Tashkent. Now I am in the fifth semester of my English language and literature specialty. My fist memory with Germany was Chocolate Museum in Koln, that my friend showed me in her School course book. From the third semester I got German as a second language and I started learning German language. At the beginning this language seemed hard with different grammatical categories. However, because of my amazing German teacher and the opportunities that language offers I decided to make an effort to learn this language better. In summer I started taking a private language course and made a pretty good progress. Nowadays I work as an English teacher and I have a passion for my job. However, I see the meaning of life in creativity and for that reason I want specialize more in linguistic field and work in more creative position than that. I already have plans for after graduation. I will have Master’s degree in computational linguistics or in cognitive sciences. There are several excellent/top universities in Germany that offers courses in this field. That’s why I see the option of having a summer school in Germany not only an opportunity to strengthen my knowledge of German, but also get to know the country and universities that I’ll continue my studies later. That’s why I have chosen Aachener Sprachsommerkurs in the first place.

I want to continue my studies in Europe, that’s why I think even by living a month in there, I can get familiar with the lifestyle and meet new people, that can help me later with my studies.

Germany is one of the top countries for higher education. Here I want present myself as a candidate for summer school in Germany and explain why I need to participate to take this course. My first experience with Germany was about Chocolate Museum in Koln. My friend showed me its picture and I was really impressed. From that time Germany was associated on me with positive feelings. I came across again with Germany years later, in the third semester in the university. By the way I study at the Uzbekistan State World Languages University, in the English language and Literature Faculty. Now I am third year student and I am having German classes for a year now. First German language seemed hard but because of my amazing German teacher and the opportunities that language offers I decided to make an effort to learn this language better. In the summer I started attending private language courses and made a good progress. From my nature I usually plan my steps in advance and it is important to me to set exact plans for my future. So, in the upcoming summer I see the opportunity of attending summer school in Germany as a great chance. Also, after graduation I am planning to take master’s degree in computational linguistics or in cognitive sciences. I see Germany as the best option for that with one of the best higher education systems in the world. In order to achieve this goal, I need to have good knowledge not only of English, but also of German. But I started to learn German a year ago and I am facing difficulties while learning. By attending summer school, I am hoping to improve my language skills, especially speaking, with the native environment.

According to given reasons I chose these language course as the most suitable ones with my plans:

I have carefully looked through all courses’ descriptions and they offer exactly what I am awaiting from summer school:

Naturally, I am planning not only studying, but also taking part in excursions and attending free-time programs actively. Again I am expecting to meet new people and friends, so I can see different perspectives and get help if I need one in the future. Also, it is highly possible that I continue my Master degree in Eberhard-Karls-Universität Tübingen or in RWTH Aachen University. For that reason, also I chose language courses in these places. I hope to visit these universities really in person and get motivated to come back later.
