19 Annual Report 2008 yunis ildirimzade
Chairman of the Supervisory board As a key founding member Mr. Yunis Ildirimzade has played a vital role in the rapid growth of Amrahbank from its establishment. he is regarded as one of the most prominent and respected bankers of Azerbaijan. he is a member of board of Directors of the Azerbaijan banks Association. Mr. Ildirimzade spent over 10 years in the government sector and the last government role was the director of Azerbaijan state Petroleum Committee. Following the collapse of the soviet Union and the independence of Azerbaijan, he joined private banking sector and became the Chairman of the supervisory board of Amrahbank in 1993.

Mr. Al-Zeera oversees IIb’s executive Management team and chairs its Management Committee. he has over twenty five years of international banking experience with major financial institutions in the Kingdom of bahrain and the United Arab emirates. These include American express banking Corporation, Arab banking Corporation (AbC), standard Chartered bank and Islamic Investment bank (now Arcpita). he played a leading role in setting up AbC’s Representative Office in Abu Dhabi in 1996, where he served as Vice President and Chief Representative. Mr. Al-Zeera was one of the key promoters of IIb who, together with the Al Fahim Group, conceived successfully set up IIb.
Member of the supervisory board (International Investment bank, executive Director) Mr. Mejai heads Direct Investment and business Development at International Investment bank. Prior to joining IIb, he spent several years with the Islamic Development bank Group and affiliated investment companies and funds in the Kingdom of saudi Arabia and UAe. he started his banking career in France and the UK. Mr. Mejai’s track record is mainly in acquisition structuring, monitoring and placement of investments. he graduated from the london business school, UK and the Theseus International Institute, France. he is trilingual Arabic, French and english. Elnur Amikishiyev Member of supervisory board (bP, executive Director for Information Management) Mr. elnur Amikishiyev is Management Information Manager at bP Company, Azerbaijan. he has over 11 years with bP in baku and Aberdeen (UK). his experience includes various management posts in financial forecasting and accounting, performance management and PsA Accounting. he has a bachelor degree in International economic Relations from Azerbaijan state economic University and is a member of Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (UK). he is trilingual Azeri, english and Russian.
Member of supervisory board (salans, senior lawyer) Mr. Mammadzade spent over 10 years at salans. he has extensive experience in corporate governance, privatization, banking, and securities law. his work is connected with advising on company management, corporative governance, structuring of transactions, foreign investment, financing and consultation services on other matters. 3 2008 was a year during which Amrahbank experienced dynamic development. The Bank left behind its competitors in accord with the most of the indicators, thus strengthening its market position even more. Having gained customer satisfaction, Amrahbank is successfully implementing the goals and objectives put forward. 2008-ci il Amrahbank üçün dinamik inkişaf ili oldu. Bank bir çox göstəricilərə görə rəqiblərini qabaqladı, öz bazar mövqeyini daha da möhkəmləndirdi.
