The Intel e-Lounge provides a wireless hotspot as well as Intel®
mobile technology-based notebook computers to access the
internet and email while you are at the Intel ISEF. Attendees can
also take a break and watch movies in the visual entertainment

The Intel ISEF Opening Ceremony officially kicks off the week of
events for 2011. This high-energy event will be led by master
of ceremonies, Chad Zdenek, host of the G4 Network’s
It’s Effin’
Science. The keynote will be by Jeffrey Katzenberg,
Chief Executive
of DreamWorks Animation SKG. Mr. Katzenberg’s production
company has produced hit movies such as
Shrek and
Kung Fu
Panda. You will have the opportunity to ask questions during the
event through Twitter, so make sure you have your Twitter account
set up and include the hash tag #intelisef when you tweet your
questions.

Both the Scientific Review Committee and Display & Safety
Committee will have conducted a final review of ALL projects on
Monday afternoon. If any problems with a project are identified
during that review, the Finalist’s booth number will be posted
outside the Exhibit Hall. Only those Finalists with identified
problems will be permitted in the Exhibit Hall beginning at 8:00 a.m.
A project cannot be judged unless all problems
have been cleared
by 9:30 a.m., Tuesday, May 10.

scheduled press interviews, to be available for impromptu visits
from visiting sponsors and dignitaries and to check their booth area.

All attendees are invited to a conversation with Nobel Laureates.
Panelists slated to attend are: Paul Berg, J. Michael Bishop, Martin
Chalfie, Dudley Herschbach, Robert Horvitz, Douglas Osheroff,
and Richard Roberts. The panel will be moderated by NPR Science
Correspondent Joe Palca.
Student Observer Caucus is a pilot program for student observers
consisting of a full day
of interactive activities that will be held in Rooms 408A & 408B.
