The Framework Agreement is the result of the activities implemented and initiatives promoted within the PACMAn Project (2593 / 2G‐MED09‐331), co-funded by Med Programme of the European Union, and coordinated by ERVET, Emilia Romagna Regional Development Agency.

Component 4 Task 4.2

Introduction

Within the framework of developing and establishing better relations, cooperation and actions between actors of the food supply chain, as specified below:

under the PACMAn Project (2593 / 2G‐MED09‐331), and in an effort to strengthen the strategic cooperation between economic development actors and public authorities to promote the attractiveness, competitiveness and internationalization of the Agro-food Clusters of the MED area and support the idea of entrepreneurship among agents, the above named parties agree to broaden their synergies with the conclusion of the current Agreement under the name “Post exploitation results agreement within PACMAn project”.

Article 1: Scope of agreement

The cooperation to be implemented with this Agreement covers the following:
1. It outlines the intended actions of collaboration and exploitation of results, going beyond the lifetime of the PACMAn project and assuring the continuation of benefits after project funding has ceased

2. Summarizes the strategy for a significant impact on the attitudes and practices that will be sustained, between the PACMAn partners, after the project's lifetime.

Article 2: Objectives

The broad objectives of the cooperation agreement are defined and specified as general and specific and are hereby noted:
General objectives:

• 
  To ensure the sustainability of the PACMAn project and its results beyond its lifetime
  
• 
  To develop a common strategy of dissemination after the project
  
• 
  To reinforce and promote the relationship among the partners of PACMAn after the end of the project.
  

Specific Objectives:

• 
  To highlight and promote, in each country of the project, excellent example of best practice from the project
  
• 
  To search further viable and sustainable funding for meeting the main objectives of the framework agreement
  
• 
  To support further informing sessions and informative events
  
• 
  To capitalise the results of PACMAn project
  
• 
  To establish a network of collaboration and interchange of experiences starting from the project´s final conclusions
  
• 
  To participate in European and international projects focused on similar topics to the ones developed within PACMAn project
  

The partners at the completion of the project and by signing this agreement are not expected to incur any additional costs or resources but they are encouraged if they can, at no extra burden to their organisation, to the follow the specific objectives described above.

Article 3: Time scale and possible actions

In order to systematically develop the above said cooperation between them, the Parties agree on an Action Plan with specific activities that will be implemented for 3 years.

Following examples of the possible action plan activities to realise with the contribution of all partners:

  Presentations about the findings and final products of PACMAn

  Sharing the PACMAn experience in each agro-food thematic event
  
• 
  Post-Project discussions/interviews with the main project clusters

  Recommendation for further projects and collaborations

  Sessions of videoconferences
  

Article 4: Obligations & Commitments

In order to support the implementation of the above specified project and the associated action plan, the parties agree to the following additional actions, determined herein as commitments that are deemed necessary for achieving the general and specific objectives. Partners are requested to maintain an active participation within the agreement. Active and balanced levels of participation will have profound effects throughout the whole agreement, and will contribute to the overall success.

This Agreement is conducted in each partner’s premises, without any other conditions
