Khiva is one of the oldest cities of Uzbekistan. There are a lot of historical monuments, so these cities are always visited by tourists. According to legend, the city of Khiva was founded by Som, the son of Prophet Noah, in the 5^th century BC. The total of the city is 25 hectares. The age of city is now more than 2500 years. As of January 1, 2022 , the permanent population of Khiva is 95 246 people. Due to sudden changes in climate across our country, it is impossible to determine the average annual temperature of all cities. The winter of 2023 was very cold for Uzbekistan, the air temperature across the country was above -20 degrees. Usually the summer in Khiva is very hot, but it is not clear the temperature will be this summer. There are separate transports for groups of tourists visiting our country. They act according to the wishes of tourist communities. Khiva is well known by many people. This small town attracts thousands and thousands of travel enthusiasts. People come from America and Australia, Europe and Asia, from the farthest corners of the world to see it. They make every effort to see the miracle of the East with their own eyes. Khiva consist of 2 parts: Ichan kal’a and Dishan kal’a. Ichan kal’a ia a historical reserve museum, which contains 54 historical monuments. A person who comes to the city feels like falling back to 18^th century. Khiva is a city that has been able to preserve its historical image compared to other cities. 80-90 percent of its monuments have preserved their condition well.
