Avignon). Copiously annotated, many generic names added, plus an Index gallicus (a list of
French names).

Annotated sarcastically, and with: “non répondue.” Includes the invitation to the dedication of a
new Linnaeus bust, which was soon destroyed during the French Revolution when mistaken for
one of Charles IX.
