TEXT-PRODUCTIVE FEATURES OF TIME CLAUSE 
 
SUMMARY 
The paper relates text-productive features of time clause. It is noted that 
the time in a language belongs to such categories by which some relationship is 
set up between linguistic and extralinguistic activities of a human being. The 
time relates to such categories that not only are described by means of language, 
but appear in the language itself, its vocabulary and grammatical structure. At 
the same time, this article provides references to the opinions of  scientists such 
as A. Mammadov,  T.Desherieva, M.Makovsky, and Y.Karaulov. With 
reference to the linguistic time M.Makovsky recommends to distinguish two 
features. The author considers the linguistic time in terms of diachronic study of 
linguistic units. The paper further provides the analysis of notions such as 
linguistic time and grammatical tense. At the same time, we tried to back up our 
thoughts with the examples taken from the works of such writers as 
E.Hemingway, J.Steinbeck, J.Archer.

ПРЕДЛОЖЕНИЯ ВРЕМЕНИ 
 
РЕЗЮМЕ 
В статье речь идет о текстообразующих особенностях придаточного 
предложения времени. Отмечается, что в языке время относится к таким 
категориям,  с  помощью  которых  между  лингвистической  и 
экстралингвистической  деятельностью  человека  устанавливается  связь. 
Время  входит  в  ряд  таких  категорий,  которые  не  только  описываются 
посредством  языка,  но  и  проявляются  в  самом  языке,  его  словарном 
составе  и    грамматическом  строении.  В  тоже  время  в  статье  даются 
ссылки 
на 
высказывания 
ученых-лингвистов 
А. 
Мамедовой,  
Т.Дешериевой,  М.Маковского,  Ю.Караулова,  М.Маковский,  ссылаясь  на 
лингвистическое  время,  рекомендует  проводить  различие  между  двумя 
особенностями.  Автор  рассматривает  лингвистическое  время  с  точки 
зрения  диахронного  изучения  языковых  единиц.  Далее  в  статье  дается 
анализ  таких  понятий,  как  грамматическое  время  и  лингвистическое 
время. В то же время, мы старались подкрепить наши мысли примерами, 
взятыми  из  произведений  таких  писателей,  как  Э.Хемингуэй, 
Дж.Стейнбек, Дж.Арчер.
