Appendix 1 

Information on Audit group members 

 

Elman Yusifov.  PhD, an author of 45 publications, a chairperson of “Ecostil-

Аzerbaijan" Social Union of Environmental Protection. He has implemented various 

projects on natural monuments. 

 

Jeyhun Musayev. A member of “Kizilbash“ Youth Educating Social Union. 

 

Ms.  Farida  Kamil  Huseynova.  An  author  of  12  publications,  Huseynova  is  a 

chairperson  of  the  Azeri  Green  Movement  and  has  spearheaded  various  projects 

including  an  environmental  rally  in  Sumgayit  in  July  1989,  the  “Live  Chain”  at  Baku 

Seaside  Park  in  November  1989,  an  expedition  along  the  Kur  River  together  with 

Georgian  Greens  in  September  1990,  tree-planting  in  commemoration  of  Bloody 

January Martyrs in January 1991, Azerbaijan International Operating Company (AIOC)–

sponsored  waste  management  on  the  beaches  of  Absheron  in  June-August  1997,  a 

seminar on “Environment and Culture” sponsored by the BP-Statoil Alliance in February 

1998,  Youth  Environmental  Week  in  March  1998,  a  trip  to  the  Pirgulu  State  Wildlife 

Sanctuary sponsored by Chevron, etc.  

The  Green  Movement  won  third  place  at  the  First  Azerbaijan  Biodiversity  Contest  co-

organized by BP and its partners in August 2002.  

 

Aga Aliyev.  A member of “Eneolit" Center for Propaganda of Historical Monuments. 

“ENEOLĐT”  Center  for  Propaganda  of  Historical  Monuments  was  established  on 

December  12  in  2004.  The  main  aim  of  the  Center  is  to  collect  information  about 

historical  and  cultural  monuments  of  Azerbaijan  Republic,also  to  draw  into  research 

work    specialists  and  to  inform  local  and  international  community  about  this 

monuments.   

At  the  current  time  the  Center  is  developing  collection  of  information  about  unknown 

monuments  which  are  in  sorrowful  condition  in  the  northern  and    western  regions  of 

Azerbaijan.  The  Center  organizes  chain  seminars  and  round-table  talks  about  

improvement of restorastion and protection work. The Center has 40 active members. 

 

Seltenet  Zulfuqarova.    A  student  of  Baku  State  University.  Bachelor  Degree  in
