dry, finely imbricate-floccose-scaly, slightly rimose, white with rosy tints, becoming

latericeous on drying; spores regularly ovoid, smooth, hyaline, 6 x 4 µ; stipe long and
twisted owing to its struggle through the leaves, tapering upward, polished, hollow,
colored and changing like the pileus, about 10 x 1 cm.; annulus superior, ample, fixed,
white to pale fuliginous.”
