• Amendments to Water Code, Law ‘On Farmers Unions’, new Draft 

Law “On Water Users Association” 

• Rules and Regulations of Water Users Groups (WUG), relations of 

WUGs with Farmers Union, in the territory of which they are 

located.  

• Economic Incentives for saving water 

• Introduction of tariffs for water delivery service 

• Analysis of benefits of adaptation measure to local communities 

• 60% – payment based on profitableness of the crop; 

• 40% - payment based on actual supplied volume of water; 

 

• Establishment of 5 new Water Users Groups (WUGs) 

• Introduction of water measuring tools into practice 

• Field Research on drainage water salinity, level and effect on the 

crop yield. 

• Coordination of implementation of adaptation measures – drainage 

collector cleaning, drainage collector construction, abandoned 

saline soils reclamation, laser levelling, nursery production for
