The Simple
Present Tense
The simple present tense is used when stating general facts
or true statements that
have no time. Add
-s to
the verb for he,
she, and
it.
I need
→ I need a new computer.
you need → You need a good lawyer.
he needs → He needs a roommate.
she needs → She needs a blanket.
it needs
→ It needs a lot of work.
we need
→ We need a flashlight.
they need → They need a new fridge.
Add
-es to
verbs when using he,
she, and
it if the verb:
