ester and is readily biodegradable according to CEC L-33-A-93 (> 85 %). A selection of high quality additives provides for
outstanding friction and anti-wear properties of CASTROL MOLUB-ALLOY™ BIOTOP 9418. Leading manufacturers of
central lubrication systems have confirmed the excellent pumpability in equipment used for wheel flange and switch plate
lubrication.
CASTROL MOLUB-ALLOY™ BIOTOP 9418 is formulated from a synthetic ester and an inorganic thickener.
CASTROL MOLUB-ALLOY™ BIOTOP 9418 wheel flange and switch plate grease was developed according to
specifications of Deutsche Bahn AG (German Railways).
Application
CASTROL MOLUB-ALLOY™ BIOTOP 9418 has been especially developed for the lubrication of wheel flanges and switch
plates with suitable central lubrication systems.
Advantages
Readily biodegradable > 85 %
CASTROL MOLUB-ALLOY™ BIOTOP 9418 provides for a stable lubricating film and excellent corrosion protection
due to its good adhesive properties and its water stability.
High quality additives provide for outstanding friction and anti-wear properties.
The biodegradability and the reduced consumption rates help to protect environment and resources.
