   Documents first should be send as scaned copys to e-mail address [e-mail] or complete online application procedure (http://www.ru.lv/online_application_procedure ).

   After receiving of document copys RA prepares invoice for Application fee (100 Eur nonrefundable). After receiving of payment of Application fee certified copies of the Applicant’s diplomas are delivered to Academic Information Centre (AIC) for recognition (www.aic.lv). This process could take from 3 weeks to 4 months. Within 5 days after complete online application or all documents sent to [e-mail] applicant electronically receives Conditional Letter.

   After positive decision by the AIC about recognition of the Applicant’s diplomas RA
   

within 5 days

• 
  prepares Study Agreement, where title of the study program chosen by the applicant, study fee to be paid, applicant’s personal data are included. The prepared Study Agreement is sent electronically to the Applicant,
  
• 
  prepares Invoice were study fee for first year of studies, Temporary Residence Permit fee, dormitory fee for two month and safety deposit 500 Eur included. The prepared Invoice electronically sent to the Applicant.
  

4. 
   The Applicant:
   
   1. 
      Prints and signs the Study Agreement;
      
   2. 
      Transfers payment of Invoice to RA bank account indicated not later than 25. August or 2. January;
      
   3. 
      Completes document package (p.2.1.-2.6.) with the following documents:
      
      1. 
         Original application form, signed, 2 copies;
         
      2. 
         The Study Agreement, signed by the Applicant;
         
      3. 
         Bank reference about transfer of payment.
         
   4. 
      Sends the prepared application package (p.6.3.) by post or courier mail to RA. The application package should be received in RA not later than 25 August (applying for the autumn semester) or 10 October (applying for the spring semester).
      
5. 
   After the application package is received in RA:
   
   1. 
      Documents are registered in RA;
      
   2. 
      Documents are reviewed and RA send Admission Letter to Applicant.
      
   3. 
      Application package submitted to Admission Committee

All education documents submitted to Rezeknes Augstskola are sent to the Academic Information Centre for academic recognition (http://www.aic.lv/portal/en/arvalstu-diplomu-atzisana/academic-recognition-of-foreign-qualifications ). During academic recognition it is approved whether the applicant is capable of continuing studies in the chosen direction and at the chosen level.
