Research Experience


1. Archival work:

- Collecting data for or elaboration of lists of the victims in the Babi Yar (Archive of Kiev and Kiev region)

- Maps and photos from 1939-1945 of the Babi Yar (Archive of Kiev and Kiev region)

- Discovering and systematizing of artistic works from the times of occupation of the city of Kiev connected with the tragedy of the Babiy Yar: poems, stories, paintings of artists ( Central State Archive-Museum of Literature and Art of Ukraine).

2. Oral history:

- Gathering and recording interviews with witnesses of the tragedy of the Babi Yar.

3. Digitization of archival photographs of victims of the Babi Yar (Archive of the Council of National Societies of Ukraine).

4. Сreation of a detailed list of the righteous Ukrainians (Archive of the Jewish Council of Ukraine).

5. Reproduction of the historical memory of the Lukianivka Jewish Cemetery on base of the archives of Kyiv and the Kiev region.

6. Сarrying out of excavations on the territory of the Babi Yar in the city of Kiev and raising plates from the former Lukyanovsky Jewish cemetery for the creation of Lapidarium.
