If I were president, I would try to do these three basic things. First, I would strengthen our education system, second, I would ensure that everyone in our society is treated equally and fairly, and finally, I would protect our borders.
Our education system in Azerbaijan is not a system we should be very proud of. Yes, there are excellent schools, colleges and educational institutions in Azerbaijan, but our standards are not as high as in other countries. For example, our schools are not adequately funded in our country. Teachers teach with enough books, without equipment, or often with books over the age of 20. If our teaching materials are not new, how can we expect our children to be aware of world information? Teachers in our public schools are often forced to use their own money to buy textbooks and supplies for our children. Why do they do it? Because they believe in a good education for all learners. Our country is "proud" of the quality of education that a person can get here, however, teachers are one of the lowest paid professionals. If I were president, I would be sure that everyone in this country will be treated equally and fairly.
