STRONGIN R.G., CHUPRUNOV E.V. Innovative education: the role of FORESTALL strategY and integration

Abstract. The experience in elaborating the forestall university strategy and the assessment of its role in the development of innovative educational programs is under consideration. It is outlined that the substantial amount of resources and effort needed for implementation of such innovative programs require thorough selection of priorities in development accepted by the university community. The authors single out the important role of project management in integration with university partners.

Abstract. The leading Russian universities who are actively developing today new forms of networking are able not only to create a large volume of the relevant electronic content, but also to change the system of production and consumption of knowledge.

An aim of the project "Networked electronic library of the federal universities" is to create a common virtual space for access providing to educational, scientific, methodological information.



Distinctive features of the project are: the creation of a technological platform and organizational methods for the development and use of the joint educational programs of the federal universities; an automation of key business processes which are necessary for the organization of the legitimate placement of scientific and educational literature in open access and for the commercialization of the full-text electronic content of the federal universities; an implementation of additional services for advancement of the federal universities in the scientometric databases and for monitoring of the distant educational process.

Abstract. The paper offers for discussion the restructuring of higher education institutions during transition period towards the effective management of main educational programs. The pessimistic and optimistic scenarios of organizational change are proposed. The authors problematize the principles of the university structure and the quality management system of main educational programs.

ROZOV N. KH. TIMELESS APPEAL OF THE TEACHING PROFESSION

Abstract. The article discusses a comprehensive professional profile of a modern university professor in Russia with his various and interrelated teaching, research and educational responsibilities. The author endorses the view that the training of new teaching staff is extremely important and constitutes the backbone of any institution of higher education. The author believes that high quality programmes for professional development of university professors and administrators are essential for further successful development of higher education.

MOSKVINA N.B. HIGHER SCHOOL TEACHER’S PROFESSIONAL ACTIVITY: PROBLEM OF THE DESTRUCTION OF MEANING
Abstract. The submitted article is an attempt to comprehend the changes taking place with the university teacher during his/her career. Through reflection of her own state of mind, the author actualizes the problem of loss the professional activity’s meaning, alienation, and distortion of the professional values. Today the teacher’s activity is assessed only by the formal indices so it loses its meaning and essence. The result of hypercontrol and bureaucratization of this sphere is transformation of education into its imitation and one of the forms of social control.

Abstract. Student's temporal behavior strategies as a special way of formation and realization of their human capital are considered. The article contains data of theoretical and empirical research of students’ temporal behavior strategies. Contradictions of temporal consciousness of students, the reasons of their emergence are shown. The article presents some types of students’ temporal behavior strategies.
