(Comments): At ThirukkOvalUr , the Lord of the dhivya dEsam pressed the thre Azhwars in dehaLi of MrugaNDu Muni's Asramam and benefitted from the three ThiruvandhAtis from the Mudhal AzwArs. Poykai AzhwAr presented the First TiruvandAti starting with the First Paasuram :

In the previous paayiram , the reference was made to “SaThakOpan Tamizh Vedam tadiyar paada”. Echoing that Tadhiyars are visualized as singing the Pasuram of Poykai AzhwAr. It can also be interpreted as Poykai AzhwAr singing the Lord's vaibahvam or the Tadhiyars singing the glories of Poykai ,

who sang the First TiruvandAthi .

The first half of this Paasuram by Thirumazhisai is referred to by PiLLai PerumAL IyengAr in the first half of his tenth Paayiram . Thirumazhisai also blessed us with a second Paasuram revered as Tirucchnadhaviruttam . In one of the paasurams from this Prabhandham , AzhwAr expresses thoughts about the soundharyam of the limbs of the Lord : “ MaayakkUttA ! VaamanA ! VinayEn KaNNA ! (Comments) : One day , when Sri Loka Saaranga Munivar went to Tenn Thiruk-kaaveri to collect water for Lord RanganAthA's Thirumanjanam , He came across a devotee of he Lord , who was totally lost singing about the Lord and was oblivious of his surroundings . That bhaktan did not notice the temple ParcichArakar facing difficulty in accessing the waters . The ParichArakar threw a little stone in the direction of ThiruppANar , which ended up hitting his forehead and blood began to flow. ThiruppANar woke up now and realized his apachAram and moved out of the way . The ParichArakar collected the water and returned to the Lord's sannidhi and found the doors closed on him. At night , Lord RanganAthan appeared in the dream of Loka Saaranga Muni and instructed him to make amends for the apachAram to His bhaktan and bring him (ThiruppANar) on his ( loka sAranga Muni's) shoulders to His sannidhi . PaaNar was aprpehensive riding on the shoulders of the leading sannidhi priest and enter Srirangam Temple . He was persuaded and on arrival at the Sannidhi on the shoulders of the Priest , He opened his eyes and sang raptourously about the beauty of the limbs of the Lord from Paadha Kamalam to His crown and after that merged with the Lord right in front of every one . ThiruppANar became ThiruppANAzhwAr through the composition of his dhivya Prabhandham , AmalanAdhi PirAn .
Once upon a time , Brahma dEvan consecrated the Moorthy of Sriman NarayaNan from the Milky Ocean and performed ArAdhanam for Him at His abode in Satya lOkam . Many years after , the Surya Vamsa King , IshvAku was blessed by Brahma devan with His own ArAdhana Moorthy and brought that Moorthy to AyOdhyA for His Family's ArAdhanam . Lord Raamachandra worshipped this Moorthy along with SitA PirAtti . After RaavaNa Vadham and His coronation , Lord Raamacandra presented His Family deity to VibhIshaNan , who began his southward journey with the Lord and His PraNavAkAra vimAnam to his home in LankA . When He rested in an island made of Cauvery , Bhagavan liked the beauty of this island and decided to stay there permanently . Even today , VibhishaNan is said to come from Lanka and perform the midnight ArAdhanam for the Lord every day .
