ESSAY 
Dear Selection Committee, 
I am Shakhzod Mirzaev, a 4-year undergraduate law student at Tashkent State 
University of Law. I am majoring International Law and Comparative Legislation. 
In the upcoming months, I am nearing my graduation at Tashkent State University 
of Law. During my last 3 years, I managed to learn Legal English, legal drafting and 
research skills.
During my research, I have discovered Frankfurt International Investment, Foreign 
Direct Investment, Alfred Deakin International Commercial and John H. Jackson 
International Arbitration Moot Courts. I have developed reasoning, mooting and 
legal drafting skills in my participation in 4 International Arbitration Moot Courts. 
Besides, I have been awarded National Scholarship Programme by the Slovak 
Republic in an amount of 400 euro for 5 months. 
Due to my curiosity towards Deloitte, I have done some in-depth research and found 
it an ideal workplace for me to practice law there. Because Deloitte has almost a 2-
century history [founded in 1845] and valuable experience [branches in over 150 
countries]. Also, it is considered one of Big4 Companies.
Recently, I have been admitted to several US and European law universities for 
studying LL.M and awarded a decent package of scholarships. But I decided to 
practise and gain some job experience. For this reason, I am applying for a long-
term job in Deloitte. I believe working in international company, such as Deloitte, 
shall meet my expectations. 
Since I studied in English, I am currently somehow struggling with Russian 
language. Confidently, I can adapt and try to switch my language into Russian. These 
days, I am learning memorizing legal terminology. Hopefully, I can cope with 
survival Russian in less time. 
I hope that I have explained all details concerning myself. I stay, all the time, alert 
to any requests, questions if any information is needed.
