can see both modern skyscrapers and ancient buildings which are of international
importance. They all take your breath away. There are a wide range of entertainment

There are cafes if you want to have a light snack or if you want to have a big lunch then
you can visit restaurant. which suit every taste and wallet. And the standard of food is

A small place
The place I'd like to visit in the future is definitely New York. You know it is
the center of the universe. At the moment I'm quite busy, but I think I can
travel sometime in the mid-August. Cause I think it would be the ideal time.
There are a lot of reasons why I chose New York as a holiday destination. First
of all, I've never been there. So, I'm sure it will be fun and there is a lot for me
to entertain myself. Although I haven't been there, I'm quite aware of its
culture, its fast pace of life and reputation for its skyscrapers because I have
done some research and watched some Hollywood movies as well. I think I
won't stay for long, maybe 2 or 3 weeks. I would stay longer, but even this
short period of time would cost me 4 or 5 thousand dollars, so I can't afford
more than that. For me the best thing about it is its national park which is slap
bang in the middle. And as you expected, I'm going to travel alone, I think I
don't need a companion, just me and my rucksack. So far, I haven't planned
everything in detail, but I guess the best way to travel is by bus as they are
usually slow and as a tourist you can explore the city. On the whole, I think
New York is a dream city that is worth visiting at least once in a lifetime.
A city you would like to live for a short time
A few months ago, me and my friends visited a mountainous area called
Zomin. Although It was our usual destination as a child, It was quite a long
time since we last visited. But this time we were shocked by the pollution in
the area. Many years ago, the area used to be unspoiled where very few
tourists would come. Unfortunately, it wasn't the same as it used to be. The
spectacular green area which was imprinted in my childhood memories was
now very polluted, lots of trees were cut down and the river was contaminated
with toxic waste and plastic bottles which are not biodegradable. It was
obvious that tourism was responsible for all that mess. As an environmentally
friendly person, I felt so sad about it and therefore wanted to make my small
contribution to bring life back to the area. That day, me and my friends spent a
few hours to collect the waste on the ground picked all plastic materials which
harm the environment. What made me really pleased was that the locals and
other tourists showed their support and helped us to plant some trees. We
worked till pitch dark and I was physically exhausted but emotionally satisfied.
A polluted place
The place I enjoy spending time in my house is definitely my bedroom.
I’ve had it since my early childhood. Before, I used to share it with my
elder brother and we suffered from a lack of space, but things changed
as we grew older. Now, he’s married and moved to a new place to live,
so the bedroom is all mine now. When it comes to its size, I wouldn’t
say it is as big as other rooms in our house, about 20 square meters,
but its cozy and I like it. There is my study desk in the corner with my
laptop on it and there are some posters of my favorite singers and
football players. But the thing that I really like about it is that there are
two large windows through which I can see the breathtaking view of
the city. There aren’t many high tech gadgets in my bedroom, but it’s
fully furnished and the decorations are amazing. These days I’m
spending most of my time at university, so I only spend my evenings
in my bedroom. I guess it’s the only place that I can have a rest after a
hard day of study.
Describe a place in your home
For me the perfect place to live is somewhere away from the city center.
Because I’m fed up with hectic life in the city as there is too much noise that
comes through the windows of our apartment. So, my ideal house to live
should locate in the countryside where there is a peace and tranquility I need.
But at the same time it must be quite luxurious with all creature comforts. I
mean the facilities. There should be a public school, hospital and other facilities
in a walking distance. But the most important thing it should be by the sea. I
really want to see the spectacular view of the sea through my bedroom
window. When it comes its size, it would be great if the rooms are large in size.
Cause we have always lived in a tiny apartment and suffered from a lack of
space. Now, I share my bedroom with my two younger brothers. And
whenever I’m doing my homework, they disturb me listening to music. So, I
really want to have a separate room for each of us. I’m fed up with sharing my
items and clothes with my siblings. Besides, I want my mum to feel pleased
and the only thing that can make her happy is fully equipped kitchen. She
always dreams of having one. I wish we lived in such an ideal house.
An ideal house or apartment to live
I’d like to describe a shopping mall which has recently opened in my
hometown. Although it’s been only a few month since it was opened, it’s
gaining good reputation in the area. This department store consists of two
floors and the basement. Since its first day, I’ve become a frequent visitor as
the facilities and the services are exceptionally good. What I really like is to
have lunch with my colleagues on the second floor, because there is a cafeteria
and the playground for children. On the ground floor you can find boutiques
which sell designer clothes and surprisingly they are reasonably prices.
Sometimes they offer discounts and on special days like “Black Fridays” you
can buy items and clothes at a reduced price. Another good thing about it is
that if you don’t like your purchase you can claim for a refund or exchange.
You know these kinds of services are not available in every store. As for me I
usually visit with my friends if I want to buy clothes, because it is much easier
to choose if someone give advice. The building itself is magnificent and the
architecture is unique and this makes it stand out. In short, it is a good place to
relax after a hard day of work.
