Application This scholarship was established in memory of Ellen and Milo Koci, who lived and farmed near LaCrosse, Kansas. Ellen attended college and taught in a one-room school during the Great Depression. She and Milo supported and encouraged education for their children and others, supported their neighborhood school, and sent all three of their daughters to a major university. This scholarship was established as a continuing legacy to children of this community.
