Ezekiel 2:1

1 And he said unto me, Son of man, stand upon thy feet, and I will speak unto thee.

Note: Son in the Hebrew means: (a builder of the family name), in the widest sense (of literal and figurative relationship, including grandson, subject, nation, quality or condition, etc . . . ). One afflicted -- Isaiah 53, age, anointed one, one appointed. Son(s), applied to supernatural beings:

Job 38:7
7 When the morning stars sang together, and all the sons of God shouted for joy?

Man in the Hebrew means: One of mankind, a male, a common sort, one (male) of low degree.

Son of man, a weak, mortal creature . . . As the Lord Jesus Christ of Nazareth usually called Himself the Son of man, it was also an honorable distinction. Son of man is a name which the Lord Jesus Christ Himself frequently took in His state of humiliation, and meekness before those whom He was so vastly spiritually superior: John 1:51; John 6:26-27; John 13:31; Luke 22:69; Acts 7:56.

Note: Although a common term used of a man of lowly estate throughout Holy Scripture, none but the Prophets Ezekiel and Daniel is called by this name, son of man, Daniel 8:17, other than the Lord Jesus Christ of Nazareth, too a Prophet of God, which is One of His Offices, Deuteronomy 18:15-16; Acts 3:22; Acts 7:37; Luke 24:18-20. Therefore, these Prophets of Jehovah God in that sense, from the Hebrew definition of the words, then means: A son, a male, one anointed, one appointed, one afflicted -- Isaiah 53, who is to be seen as a common sort, or a man of low degree, but at the same time . . . One who is vastly superior in the spiritual realm, as a High Prophet of the Most High God, Jehovah. This title, Son of man, as applied to the Messiah, the Christ, the Lord Jesus Christ of Nazareth, implies at once His lowliness and His exaltation, in His manifestations as the Representative man, at His first and second Comings respectively: Matthew 16:13; Matthew 20:18; Daniel 7:13; Daniel 7:14; Matthew 16:13; Matthew 20:18; Matthew 24:30; Matthew 26:64.

Luke 5:24

24But that ye may know that the Son of man hath power upon earth to forgive sins, (he said unto the sick of the palsy,) I say unto thee, Arise, and take up thy couch, and go into thine house.

Note: Son in the Greek means: A son, descendent, a specific man. One sharing the same nature as their Father. The Lord Jesus Christ of Nazareth as the son of the Father, 2 John 1:3. Thus, for the Born Again Believer, becoming a son of God is being reborn (adopted) by God the Father, the Heavenly Father – through the Lord Jesus Christ of Nazareth, Ephesians 1:4-6, (the work of the Eternal Son.) This equally refers to female Born Again Believers, Galatians 3:28.

Note: Man in the Greek means: A man, one of the human race. (Additionally, man is the generic term for "mankind," the human race, people, including both men and women). Also, man references a certain man, one which is devoted to the service of God, as God's Minister, and/or a man who is a Prophet of the Most High God, Jehovah, 1 Timothy 6:11; 2 Timothy 3:17; 2 Peter 1:21.

John 5:19-30

19 Then answered Jesus and said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, The Son can do nothing of himself, but what he seeth the Father do: for what things soever he doeth, these also doeth the Son likewise.

20 For the Father loveth the Son, and sheweth him all things that himself doeth: and he will shew him greater works than these, that ye may marvel.

21 For as the Father raiseth up the dead, and quickeneth them; even so the Son quickeneth whom he will.

22 For the Father judgeth no man, but hath committed all judgment unto the Son:

23 That all men should honour the Son, even as they honour the Father. He that honoureth not the Son honoureth not the Father which hath sent him.

24 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.

25 Verily, verily, I say unto you, The hour is coming, and now is, when the dead shall hear the voice of the Son of God: and they that hear shall live.

26 For as the Father hath life in himself; so hath he given to the Son to have life in himself;

27 And hath given him authority to execute judgment also, because he is the Son of man.

28 Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in the which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice,

29 And shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation.

30 I can of mine own self do nothing: as I hear, I judge: and my judgment is just; because I seek not mine own will, but the will of the Father which hath sent me.

John 3:13-15

13 And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, even the Son of man which is in heaven.

14 And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up:

15 That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life.

John 8:28

28 Then said Jesus unto them, When ye have lifted up the Son of man, then shall ye know that I am he, and that I do nothing of myself; but as my Father hath taught me, I speak these things.

Mark 14:55-65

55 And the chief priests and all the council sought for witness against Jesus to put him to death; and found none.

56 For many bare false witness against him, but their witness agreed not together.

57 And there arose certain, and bare false witness against him, saying,

58 We heard him say, I will destroy this temple that is made with hands, and within three days I will build another made without hands.

59 But neither so did their witness agree together.

60 And the high priest stood up in the midst, and asked Jesus, saying, Answerest thou nothing? what is it which these witness against thee?

61 But he held his peace, and answered nothing. Again the high priest asked him, and said unto him, Art thou the Christ, the Son of the Blessed?

62 And Jesus said, I am: and ye shall see the Son of man sitting on the right hand of power, and coming in the clouds of heaven.

63 Then the high priest rent his clothes, and saith, What need we any further witnesses?

64 Ye have heard the blasphemy: what think ye? And they all condemned him to be guilty of death.

65 And some began to spit on him, and to cover his face, and to buffet him, and to say unto him, Prophesy: and the servants did strike him with the palms of their hands.

Luke 22:63-69

63 And the men that held Jesus mocked him, and smote him.

64 And when they had blindfolded him, they struck him on the face, and asked him, saying, Prophesy, who is it that smote thee?

65 And many other things blasphemously spake they against him.

66 And as soon as it was day, the elders of the people and the chief priests and the scribes came together, and led him into their council, saying,

67 Art thou the Christ? tell us. And he said unto them, If I tell you, ye will not believe:

68 And if I also ask you, ye will not answer me, nor let me go.

69 Hereafter shall the Son of man sit on the right hand of the power of God.

Matthew 25:31-40

31 When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory:

Note: Isaiah 6:1-3

32 And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats:

33 And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left.

34 Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:

35 For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in:

36 Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me.

37 Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, and fed thee? or thirsty, and gave thee drink?

38 When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and clothed thee?

39 Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee?

40 And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.

A son, a male, one anointed, one appointed, one afflicted, Isaiah 53, who is to be seen as a common sort, or a man of low degree, but at the same time . . . One who is vastly superior in the spiritual realm, as a High Prophet of the Most High God, Jehovah. A son, descendent, a specific man. One sharing the same nature as their Father.

A man, one of the human race. (Additionally, man is the generic term for "mankind," the human race, people, including both men and women). Also, man references a certain man, one which is devoted to the service of God, as God's Minister, and/or a man who is a Prophet of the Most High God, Jehovah.

One of mankind, a male, a common sort, one (male) of low degree.

Then you will see this Son: One anointed, appointed, afflicted, Isaiah 53, of low degree -- born in a manger, a carpenter’s son. Of man: A certain man, devoted to the service of God, as God’s Minister, a man who is a Prophet of the Most High God, Jehovah . . . the I AM sitting on the right hand of power, and coming in the clouds of Heaven, in His Glory, and all the Holy Angels with Him.
