There are various news-related application that can instantly update us about any serious happening around us. Social media has also created oppornuties for people such as to show their talents. It is also great for advertisements. But despite being so many benefits, it has been criticized. It has disadvantages too. It is also considered as one of the harmfull elements of society. The oversharing on social media can be dangerous, it can attack our privacy. Overusing leads to spending too much time on social media which can devited children from their studies.

For example, children approach social media to get information on the desired topic. It is great device for education. It has made live education possible. We can attend a lecture happening in some other part of the world by just a sitting in front of a screen in our country. Another main advantages of the social network is connecting people. People who live far away from their families or friends who have grown apart with can get connected to one another with social media. The distance decreases between people.

In social media, as most of our personal information is present. There remains a high chance of hackers using that information for their own benefit. You might have often heard about hackers into various websites and demanding ransom in return. Sharing videos of kidnapping, murders, robberies on social media can be easily. Mostly youngsters waste lots of time on social media like chatting which also effects their health. One of the main problems is eye problems. Prolonged use of display screens may weaken eye sight. Sitting all day in front of computers may disturb body metabolism.
