The Philippine Ports Authority, Port Management Office of Agusan, through its Bids and Awards Committee (BAC) for Engineering Projects, invites contractors registered with and classified by the Philippine Contractors Accreditation Board (PCAB) to bid for the hereunder contracts:

Scope of Work

Mobilization/demobilization;




1. Provide Environmental Safety and Health Program (CHSP) in the execution of the project;




2. Demolition/disposal of affected RC Deck slab, beam, pilecap, curtainwall, endwall & curbs/debris;




3. Piling Works;




4. Supply and install Formworks at RC Deck, curtain walls, endwall, pilecaps, beams, slabs, and curbs;




5. Supply and install RSB at RC Deck, curtain walls, endwall, pilecaps, beams, slabs, and curbs;




6. Supply and place of 3500 psi concrete at RC Deck, curtain walls, endwall, pilecaps, beams, slabs, and curbs;




7. Supply and installation of hot-dipped steel gratings;




8. Supply and undertake painting works at concrete curb, moorings, and numbering of mooring and fendering fixtures;




9. Removal of Damaged Rubber Dock Fenders and chipping of affected concrete;




10.Supply and deliver Rubber Dock Fenders, 500mmx 2000mm, V Type;




11.Construction of reinforced concrete bed/backing for RDF, 1.0 x 2.3m x 0.20m thick; and




12. Installation of rubber dock fenders, 500mm x 2000mm, V Type.

Cost of Bid Document

(25,000.00), exclusive of 12% VAT.

Bidders should have completed, within the last three (3) years from the date of submission and receipt of bids, a single largest completed contract (SLCC) similar to the Project to be bid and having a value of at least 50% of the approved budget for the contract to be bid, adjusted to current prices using the PSA consumer price indices and supported with corresponding certificate of completion/acceptance from project owner/agency.


Bidding will be conducted through open competitive bidding procedures using non-discretionary “pass/fail” criteria as specified in the Implementing Rules and Regulations (IRR) of Republic Act No. 9184, otherwise known as the “Govern ment Procurement Reform Act”.
Bidding is restricted to duly licensed Filipino citizens/sole proprietorships, partnerships, corporations or cooperatives duly organized under the law of the Philippines and of which at least 75% of the interest or of the outstanding capital stock belongs to citizens of the Philippines.
Interested bidders are required to submit to the BAC Secretariat of PPA, PMO Agusan a Letter of Intent together with the set of machine copies with original for presentation and authentication before the issuance of Bid Documents of the following:

a) Valid PCAB License/Classification;

b) Certificate of Completion/Acceptance of owner of the Single Largest Completed Contract within the last three (3) years similar to the project to be bid; and

c) Certification of non-inclusion in the Consolidated Blacklisting Report issued by the GPPB.
A complete set of Bidding Documents will be available to interested Bidders from the address below upon payment of the specified non-refundable Cost of Bid Documents, exclusive of 12% VAT.
This Office is not electronically-ready to handle documents thus submission of bids / proposals electronically is not allowed.

The Philippine Ports Authority, Port Management Office of Agusan Bids and Award Committee will hold a Pre-Bid Conference on May 30, 2017 (Wednesday) at the PPA, PMO Agusan Administration Bldg., Port Area, San Francisco Street, Butuan City, at the time and place specified in the above schedule which shall be open to all interested bidders.


Bidders must submit their bids on or before the date, time and at the place specified in the above schedule. Late bid/s will not be accepted. All bids must be accompanied by a bid security in any of the forms stated in the Bidding Documents. Bids higher than the ABC shall automatically be disqualified at the bid opening. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders’ representatives who choose to attend at the address below.
The Philippine Ports Authority, Port Management Office of Agusan reserves the right to accept or reject any Bid, to annul the bidding process, and to reject all bids at any time prior to contract award, without thereby incurring any liability to the affected bidder or bidders. Similarly, the PPA Port Management Office of Agusan assumes no obligation, whatsoever, to compensate or indemnify any bidder of any expenses or loss that said bidder(s) may incur in its participation in the pre-bidding and bidding process nor does it guarantee that an award will be made.
