Submission Instructions for Graduate Units
The nomination package for each nominee should be scanned as a single
PDF-file, containing all
application materials in the order listed below and submitted electronically via the SGSDrive. Please
use file naming convention of: Last name, First name _Polanyi2016.
1. Application form
2. CV
3. Brief summary of doctoral thesis
4. Statement of research (or writing) to be undertaken during period of the award
5. Non-technical summary
6. Letters of assessment (received direct from referees)
Please rank all candidates and submit a completed 2016 Polanyi Prizes Submission Spreadsheet
(Excel file attached to Award Announcement) to SGS

The Graduate Awards Office will confirm receipt by email within 24 hours, all award nominations
submissions received from units via the SGSDrive. To ensure successful submission, please be sure to
follow-up with the designated award officer if no email confirmation has been received.

Look under SGSDrive. You will find a set-up guide and you will need to
download and install a program called Cyberduck onto your computer. If you do not have administrative
