Experience

Workplace


  • Assisted workers when performing work for sour situations for completions and production of oil and gas wells and turn arounds.

  • Acted as Safety watch and rescuer for confined space work, snubbing, coiling, well testing, and turn arounds.

  • Worked as an Administrator in the field office for Paramount Resources with duties including: learning and setting up roughneck program, cost center sheets, organizing all field operations paperwork for Lead Operator and Area Foreman, assisting operations with ordering parts and supplies.

  • Worked as part of a team with construction crew in Northern BC with Encal Energy.

  • Operated computer programs such as data base entry, Citrix, Scada, Roughneck, word, windows, PVR, PowerPoint, Lotus, Star, and Excel with Apache, Paramount Resources, Encal Energy, Northern Envirosearch, Veritas DGC, and Trace Explorations Ltd.

  • Recorded detailed notes of daily activities in the field and completed a work portfolio with Encal Energy.

  • Collected detailed records of the recording crews daily job (ex. Entered info into forms on the computer.)

  • Looked after the payroll, crewlist, roomlists, and any bonus sheets that applied to the crew for Trace Explorations and Veritas DGC.

  • Hold tickets in First-Aid, TGD, WHMIS, H2S ALIVE , Confined Space, Gas Detection and Control, PST, Bear Awareness, Fall Arrest, wellhead insurance, and $2 million coverage on vehicle.

  • Prepared the daily data for shipments back to head office in Calgary for Trace and Veritas.

  • Organized job file folders to prepare for the client and head office for Trace/Veritas.

  • Maintained purchase orders and other expenses for the crew and kept a detailed job file of every transaction for Trace/Veritas.

  • Finished completion forms for seismic activity in BC, AB, SK for Veritas.

Environmental


  • Observed and assisted construction consultant with construction, completions, clean-ups for Encal Energy in Northern BC.

  • Assisted with reclamation of oil and gas leases including: communicating with farmers, surveyors, construction crews, rig engineers; determining size of leases, location of sumps and borrow pits, location of access roads; and obtaining of permits for the leases.

  • Took sump samples, helped with cleaning-up of sump and borrow pits, re-contoured the subsurface soils, recovered top-soil and spread it back on the land, seeded and re-vegetated the lease while helping the construction crew with Encal Energy.

  • Completed Reclamation Criteria for Well Sites and Associated Facilities through PITS in May 2002

  • Conducted water well testing for pre- and post-seismic programs in Alberta, BC, and SK with Northern Envirosearch.

  • Observed environment around various sites and made conscious decisions as to type of herbicide to apply with Ace Vegetation

  • Observed and recorded types of vegetation on site and surrounding area with Ace Vegetation
