A top Korean actor will act as a good-will ambassador for new materials. In the hit television drama series, Jumong, Lee plays the role of “Mopalmo”— a master craftsman who creates stunning swords by using innovative materials and methods. According to the storyline, Molpalmo’s dedication to his craft is instrumental in helping the main character, Jumong, fight off his enemies and establish the kingdom of Koguryo. The backdrop for the historical TV drama is the Koguryo Kingdom (37 B.C. - A.D. 668), one of three kingdoms of ancient Korea.
