Scales of the project and the purpose: “Agro-Azerinvest” Ltd is the full-completed cycle of production of high-quality wines: planting and processing of grapes, manufacture and bottling of wines in bottles (0,75l ltr) and in vessels of Bag-in-box (3-5 ltrs), production of cognacs.
The basic purpose: high quality of produced products from own wine materials with application of traditional wine making technologies, allowing delivering to the consumer freshness, taste and aroma of the specified wines.

Presently the company strenuously works with the purpose of expansion of the activity and getting access to the international market: Russia, the Ukraine, Latvia, and the countries of the Europe. The company was awarded with prestigious international premiums for quality of its wines and for realization of one of successful projects of the year in agriculture - revival of the Azerbaijan viniculture.

   Project description:
   

Reforms, which are carried out in Azerbaijan in the field of social and economic development of regions and revival of agriculture, positively influences development of viniculture and winemaking. Measures (laws, decisions) undertaken by the Government have brought in the essential contribution to development of regions and first of all an agriculture. The number of the agricultural companies increases; their scale of activity expands. Dynamic development of national economy, inflow of the foreign capital and use of local financial assets leads to increase in well-being of local population, improvement of the mechanism of management in sphere of agriculture up to the international standards, production of qualitative and competitive products. These factors influence necessity of realization of this project.

Produced products like wines, cognacs, grape juice, dried grapes (raisin), fresh grapes are expected to realize both in the local market and as well as outside the republic. It is expected to produce various kinds of table wines, cognacs with various storage years. Besides it opening of special restaurants and tasting halls is planned, with the purpose of providing the population with an opportunity of complete pleasure of taste taking of products produced by the company.

The enterprise products form the hazelnut segment, and the demand for it at the European market is pretty much. In accordance with the project of the enterprise, improving of quality and widening a range of hazelnut products on the European markets are the primary goals. Given the situation, the enterprise intends to expand the hazelnut processing and its production spheres.

There is a need in the range of new equipment pieces to enforce the production and technological processes along with their stabilization. The following required equipment pieces such as the wire conveyors with various lengths, elevators, compartments, roasting equipment with the technical characteristics of 500kg/hour, etc are planned to be purchased from the leading

firms in Italy “Brambati” , “C.S. Engineering“ and “Uni Pack “ ,”Van Dam “ in Germany and etc.

The enterprise was registered by the Baku Governmental Registration Department of Juridical People of the Azerbaijan Ministry of Justice on November 19, 2003 and given Governmental Registration Certificate № 0103-P34-3876. The juridical address of the enterprise is 7, Atomoglan Rzayev street, Amirjan district, Baku city. The main activities of the enterprise consist of purchases of agricultural products and the processing. In order to keep this sphere functioning, appropriate equipment is available. Thus, by improving the production, the purchasing system was set in place and the technological processing established, which included involvement of the qualified personnel. The production and laboratory controls were organized based upon the world market demands and the sale was arranged in accordance with the laws on import-export. The enterprise imports to European market natural hazelnut kernels , roasted hazelnut kernels, roasted and chopped hazelnut kernels, and its flour.
