CHRISTMAS SCHEDULE OF MASSES & SERVICES:
We invite you to pick up a copy of our Christmas Mass schedule & Services at the back of the church this weekend. It contains all the times of Christmas masses, Carol Services, Confessions etc for Christmas. Please take one!

DO THIS IN MEMORY OF ME PROGRAMME: will take place at this Saturday Vigil Mass 10th Dec. for our First Holy Communion children and their parents.

SPECIAL EUCHARISTIC ADORATION: in preparation for Christmas is taking place each Sunday of Advent in the Adoration Chapel from 3pm to 6pm.

MEDJUGORJE MONTHLY PRAYER MEETING will meet in the Parish Meeting Room on this Monday 12th at 7.30pm

COLASTE NA RÍOCHTA CHRISTMAS MASS Will take place on Wednesday 14th Dec. at the School at 9.15am.

LEGION OF MARY continue to meet every Wednesday evening in the Parish Meeting Room at 8pm. New people always welcome.

SCOIL REALTA NA MAIDINE Boy’s School Christmas Mass on Thursday the 15th at 9.15am. in the School.

ST. MICHAEL’S COLLEGE CHRISTMAS MASS will take place at the College on Thursday next 15th Dec. 12noon.

LISTOWEL PRESENTATION SECONDARY SCHOOL are hosting a Carol Service here at St. Mary’s Church on Thursday 15th starting at 7pm. All are welcome!

LISTOWEL HOSPITAL COMMUNITY MASS will take place on Friday next Dec. 16th at 2pm

CLOUNMACON ANNUAL COMMUNITY MASS & PARTY: Is taking place in their Community Centre on Friday night ( Dec. 16th ) at 7.30 p.m. All are welcome.

CHRISTMAS CAROLS A Celebration of Christmas. Here in our beautiful Church preformed by our Parish Choir on Sunday next 18th December at 7pm. No admission everybody welcome. Also if you cannot make it you can also tune in on the web www.listowelparish.com live stream.
PARISH CHRISTMAS CARDS
Available at the Parish Office. Individual Cards are €1.00 each and pack of 6 for €5.00. Also we have Christmas Mass Bouquet cards

CHRISTMAS PENITENTIAL SERVICE / CONFESSIONS: will take place on Monday week (Dec. 19th) at 8.00 p.m. at St. Marys Church. It will consist of a short penitential service followed by the opportunity of individual confession with the priests of the Pastoral Area present. We appeal to as many people as possible to avail of this opportunity for Christmas Confessions on Monday, Dec. 19th. There will be Confessions by day also midweek after the 10.30 a.m. Mass on week leading into Christmas

LISTOWEL CHRISTMAS CARNIVAL this Sunday 11th Dec. Coca Cola Truck – The Square 12noon to 5pm. photo opportunity, Virtual Sleigh ride, The Dublin Gospel Choir, Ice-Block Jenga. Listowel Lapland Experience, meet Santa, Mrs Claus & the Elves in the Seanchaí 2 to 6pm. Listowel Tidy Towns unveiling of Sculpture 5pm. William St. Party & Seige of William St. 5.15pm music & dancing till 8pm. the night before Christmas live performance at McKenna’s shop window 6.15 to 6.30pm. Parking restrictions will apply.

LISTOWEL ACTIVE RETIRED CHRISTMAS LUNCH will take place on Tuesday 13th December at 3pm.

LISTOWEL FAMILY RESOURCE CENTRE Jumble Sale

will be held at Family Resource Centre on Thursday next. Dec. 15 from 12 noon-4pm. Grandparents Tea Party All Grandparents are invited to attend our Grandparents Tea Party, there will be activities available for them to join in with their Grandchildren, Wednesday Dec 14 from 3-5pm.



KERRY CHORAL UNION IN DUAGH CHURCH on Friday night next (Dec. 16th ) Come and enjoy some beautiful Carols and singing as we enter the Festive Season. Tickets €10 Euro each. Proceeds are in aid of Duagh Sports & Leisure Centre.

THE SEANCHAÍ CENTRE IN PARTNERSHIP WITH THE LISTOWEL BRANCH OF ST VINCENT DE PAUL, will be hosting a Christmas “Giving Tree” Morning Tea event on Tuesday next Dec. 13th between 10am and 1pm. An open invitation is extended to all, to leave an item under the “Giving Tree” and enjoy the complimentary service of coffee, tea and scones.  The “Giving Tree”, will provide all visitors to the Seanchaí Centre, the opportunity to donate non perishable items suitable for packing into St Vincent de Paul Christmas hampers,

RIP CHORD in aid of Kerry Branch of the Irish Hospice Foundation. Great live music with raffles on the night from 7pm. onwards on Sunday 11th Dec. in Mike the Pies.

ANAM CARA, the organisation that supports bereaved parents, is holding its next monthly Parent Evening on Tuesday 13th of December from 19:30 to 21:00 in Recovery Haven, 5 Haig Terrace, Killerisk, Tralee, Co. Kerry. This event is open to all bereaved parents regardless of the age your child died, the circumstances of their death, or whether the death was recent or not.

ARDFERT RETREAT CENTRE: An Hour of Prayer Using Scripture (Lectio Divina): Sr. Elizabeth Gilmartin, Tuesday 6th Dec. 7.00pm-8.00pm. Christian Morality: The Faith Lived by Fr. TARBERT COMPREHENSIVE SCHOOL many thanks to those who contributed so generously to the Concern church gate collections which were held on November 26th & 27th. The amount raised in Listowel was €1,335.00. Thanks also to all those who helped with the collections.
