MEMORANDUM OF AGREEMENT

MISSION OF HPAIR PARTNERSHIP CLUBS

Since 1999, HPAIR has set up partnerships with organizations established by former delegates on their own campuses. These clubs provide an additional forum for discussions about international issues and their local implications. These organizations foster intellectual exchange by holding their own seminars, workshops and conferences. While usually more local in focus, these organizations uphold the same common spirit and driving force behind the main international HPAIR conference. Finally, aside from the recruiting and academic components, these clubs also fundraise for their own local events and assist their members with paying for conference attendance costs. Partnership clubs exist as independent organizations but also benefit from participation in HPAIR conferences and institutional support from our organization.

HPAIR PARTNERSHIP CLUBS RESPONSIBILITIES AND BENEFITS
As an HPAIR Partnership Club, your organization must:

1. 
   Have a minimum of 10 applicants total between the Asia Conference and Harvard Conference
   
2. 
   Recruit members from the university to join the club
   
3. 
   Host a minimum of one meeting each month to discuss the club’s mission and other affairs
   
4. 
   Hold at least 1 informational session about both of the HPAIR conferences, Harvard Conference or Asia Conference
   
5. 
   Host at least 1 seminar that aligns with HPAIR’s mission of fostering discussion on international affairs each year
   
6. 
   Send HPAIR’s Partnership Club contact biweekly updates detailing the activities of the Partnership Club during the course of the application cycle (March-June) and monthly updates during other months
   
7. 
   Actively promote HPAIR and HPAIR’s mission
   

The benefits of becoming an HPAIR Partnership Club include:

1. 
   Preferential consideration during the application process with guaranteed interviews for all members and automatic admission for club leadership at Asia Conference (limited to 3 leaders)
   
2. 
   10% discount on registration fees for active members
   
3. 
   Preferential consideration during the Asia Conference bidding process
   
4. 
   Priority consideration for housing during the Harvard Conference
   
5. 
   Assistance with marketing and recruitment efforts in the form of promotional materials and social media marketing
   
6. 
   Official recognition as HPAIR’s partner and support in continuing HPAIR’s mission on the club’s campus
   

By signing this Memorandum of Agreement, your organization agrees to fulfill the responsibilities of a Partnership Club. If your organization does not complete all of these terms, HPAIR reserves the right to revoke Partnership Club status and all the associated benefits.
