14.  avgusta  1920.  godine  u  Beogradu  je  potpisan  ugovor  o  stvaranju  "Male 

Antante", vojno - odbrambenog saveza

Slovenaca  protiv  restauracije  Habsburgovaca  i  revizionisti

kih  težnji  Ma arske 

posle Prvog svetskog rata. Savezu je 19. avgusta pristupila i Rumunija. 

 

 

 

Uzrok formiranja Antante bio je konkretno strah od eventualnog pokušaja Austrije 

ili  Ma arske  da  vojnim  napadom  povrati  teritorije  koje  je  Austrougarska  ranije 

imala.  

 

Mala Antanta je smatrana „petom silom u Evropi".
