I was walking down the street when I saw a small 
wooden box by the road. Suddenly, I heard a voice say, “Help! 
Let me out of here!” To my surprise, the voice was coming from 
the box...
At first, I didn’t know what to do. Something like that had 
never happened to me before. Normally, I would have continued
walking but something was telling me not to. I got very anxious to get 
to know something about the box. 
Having considered all my options, I picked the box up. I was 
surprised how heavy it was. When I moved the strange object next 
to the bench, I sat down to get some rest. “OK, no more postponing 
this”, I finally thought and the moment I was about to open the box, 
it opened itself playing soft music. After a while, I was looking at a 
huge blue male with a ponytail. He spoke to me, “You don’t have to 
worry, I’m here to help you”, and I calmed down a little. After him 
telling me he was a jinn who made whishes happen, my mouth opened 
in a giant smile. He also made it clear that jinn didn’t come out of 
golden lamps, and it was just a myth. Ending our chat, he offered me 
3 wishes to use. 
As a first wish I wanted to be rich, and it happened right away. 
Secondly, I wished to be so handsome that no girl could resist me. 
And it also happened immediately – I noticed the change. 
I was thinking on my last wish hard, not to waste it, and I simply 
said, “As a last wish I want to have 3 more wishes”. Then the jinn got 
furious. He told me this was not possible and that I was ruining my 
opportunity. He wouldn’t calm down and ... cursed me. Suddenly, I felt 
so sick I couldn’t stand it.
And here I am. Rich, handsome and stupid... And I’m about to die 
soon. I could really use the last wish right now...
