Personal SDG Action Plan

  1. The personal and family arena.

I am supporting the sustainable development goal 12, ‘responsible consumption and production’, by dividing the trashes we use in our house in separate recycling and trash bins. In order to reduce the waste and reach the sustainability, I give paper, metal and plastic products to the responsible organizations to recycle them and reduce the harm in manufacturing products and use of it. Furthermore, my family members are encouraged and supporting recycling products.
However, the recycling is not considered as an essential action that people can commit in everyday life in order to prevent environment in my local area. The people tent to throw anything they use into thrash bins, and addicted to buy too much latest products as a sign of wealth. This, in turn, leads to waste of production.
The resolution for this issue can be in the responsibilities of every individual. In order to reach the zero-waste aim of the SDG 12, we should rise public awareness and support more public recycling bins around each town that is the crucial part of the sustainable environment.

  1. The public arena.

I strongly support Sustainable development goal 4 ‘Qualitative education’ in my local area for professional development. As an educator, I am supporting inclusive, equitable and continues education in my school. The importance of the goal is in its continuity and quality at the same time.
Thus, to provide continuous education in schools, online lessons should be conducted in emergency times. It can be obvious that the global pandemic imposed a huge harm in every sphere of human life, as well as in education. In the previous academic year, a resemble emergency situation happened in my country that schools had an exclusive closure due to the extreme freezing weather conditions in order to prevent people from possible infectious diseases. We had to provide qualitative education simultaneously by providing with ensuring health among people.
In order to provide each student with qualitative education, we have to implement online education in emergency periods. This can be the best option which has already been adopted. In the schools’ closure times, I taught my students online with the help of technological advances such as gadgets, messengers and internet, as a result, all my students had opportunities to reach these lessons.
