A video of the new gym’s construction is now posted on our website: www.cgca.org. Please look on the right side of the home page and click on “New Gym Video”.

CAMPBELL’S LABELS & LABELS FOR EDUCATION: Thank you for continuing to save labels for CGCA. We earn money to purchase equipment and other classroom needs.
LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR”: Please view our school’s facebook linked from our website (www.cgca.org) to view our students work.
FUNDRAISING OPPORTUNITIES FOR THE CGCA NEW BUILDING:
AVON

Mrs. Dawn Perez (Ashley Reyes - 2nd grade), will donate 20% to the new building through the end of the school year from her Avon sales. All you need to do is place an order and let Dawn know that you are connected to CGCA, and she will make the contribution to CGCA and the new building. Please do not order through her website, because she won’t know to give CGCA the 20% donation.

Her Avon books are available in the office.
MIDDLE SCHOOL WAWA FUNDRAISER: There are still Wawa shorti hoagie vouchers for sale in the office for $3.50 each. This benefits the school and saves the purchaser money as well, since these sandwiches normally cost $3.99.

NOTES FROM THE NURSE:

COLD & FLU SEASON:

With cold and flu season upon us, please help keep the staff and students @ CGCA healthy. When your child is sick with fever, vomiting, diarrhea or respiratory infection, please keep them home from school until they are healthy enough to make it through the school day. Students should be fever free, without vomiting or diarrhea for twenty four hours before returning to school. If or when your child comes to school not feeling quite well, it is required that you send a note and your updated contact phone numbers where you can be reached, immediately, in case of an emergency. Otherwise, the staff assumes students have been sent to school healthy and are advised to remain in school until dismissal.

MEDICATIONS:

Prescription or over the counter medications can only be administered at school after your physician has completed the required paperwork. Parents or their designee are welcome to come to school and administer any necessary medication until the physician has completed the paperwork. All medications must be either pharmacy labeled or labeled by you the parent.

MEDICAL ISSUES:

If your child has any medical issues, it is absolutely necessary that this information be noted on your child's medical record. If an emergency arises at school and your child doesn't have his lifesaving medication, 911 will be called to transport your child to the nearest ER for treatment. A short ride by ambulance can run up to $600.00. Please let's keep our children safe and avoid unnecessary medical expenses.
