Consulate General of Japan in Denver

The Consulate General of Japan in Denver is seeking a qualified candidate to join its local staff. Applications must be received by

  1. Position: Assistant for the section of political, economic and cultural and public relations at the Consulate General of Japan in Denver



  1. Work Duties: Assistance with official functions of the section of political, economic and cultural and public relations (including preparation of reports and other documents, information collection and review, local correspondence and public functions, outreach etc.)



  1. Work Hours: Mon—Fri 9:00AM-5:00PM; Some occasional overtime work required



  1. Qualifications:
    ● Legal presence to live and work in the U.S. (citizenship)
    ● Proficiency in English and Japanese (English-Japanese translation capacity is appreciated)
    ● Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel


  2. Selection Process: After the initial document screening, selected candidates will be contacted for an interview and written examination. Upon hiring, there will be an introductory trial employment period of 90 days.
