WORK EXPERIENCE:
I worked as Intern Research Assistant with Dr. Said M. Shawar (Assistant Professor-Life Sciences department) at Arabian Gulf University. This was three month internship program, during which I modeled mutant FGF23 using Pymol, Maestro from Shrodinger, and Chimera. The structure of this protein is not yet determined by wet-lab procedures. So I used bioinformatics tools to get its structure by homology modeling approach and got significant results. This finding is accepted by journel of Endocrine, Boston. Here is the link.
