DESCRIPTION – Printer Connector Patch for Andromeda/EFI Support

DETAILS

The Printer Connector is a stand-alone component that is used by the TotalFlow software product portfolio to connect to Ricoh and non-Ricoh printers and controllers. Prior to developing the Printer Connector, connecting to printers was embedded within the individual products and required product releases each time a new printer and/or controller is launched. By isolating the printer connection logic from the products, new printers and/or controllers can be supported without product releases… the products will dynamically pick up the support provided by the Printer Connector.

This third patch contains the previous patches of the Printer Connector and adds support for the Andromeda/EFI launch. Customers who purchase Andromeda/EFI printers and TotalFlow software should be instructed to down load the Printer Connector patch in order to enable the TotalFlow software to connect to and drive the Andromeda/EFI product.

Additional information is available in the Readme. To update the Printer Connector, download the installer exe file and run it. The TotalFlow software products need to be stopped during the Printer Connector update.
