eri
X
.advanced is a scalable system for misson critical communications. It integrates services
like telephony-, radio-, and intercom despatching, alerting as well as facility control and resource
management for public safety vehicles and responders. The emergency processes can be distri-
buted to any number of workstations. Each of them can consist of up to 8 channels of voice
recording and documentation. In addition, all key processes are automatically logged.
The individual
eri
X
.advanced workstations can be linked together other and to other subsys-
tems via LAN and there are interfaces to command & control systems.

The
eri
X
.advanced software is developed to ensure quick and simple operation for the user. This
way, users do not need to undergo extensive, complicated training. At the same time, the simple
operating concept increases the level of operator acceptance.
eri
X
.advanced offers a high level of voice quality thanks to a newly developed audio interface
(AIF) unit. All analogue signals are digitalised and handled by using a digital signal processor. This
way, it is possible to simply and flexibly route all audio paths to any of the four built in speaker
amplifiers and other communications devices.
eri
X
.advanced uses Voice over IP (VoIP) for telephony, but still providing analogue und digital
(e.g. ISDN) ports. As a result, there are no limitations to the telephone system. All telephone data
can be transmitted compatibly thanks to the global standard SIP protocol. It is also possible
to connect door/intercom systems via this protocol.
eri
X
.advanced also features a convenient
telephone book with a time-saving participant search function.
eri
X
.advanced can control and simultaneously listen to up to 16 radio- or public address (PA)
channels. The radio devices are connected to the system unit (SM1) via audio- and data interface
using specific or standard protocols (e.g. PEI).
eri
X
.advanced integrates a flexible status monitor software (e.g. FMS) to track and monitor up
to several hundred operating resources including a history and printing function. It is possible to
automatically or manually capture and display the status of resources such as vehicles or per-
sonnel.
eri
X
.advanced enables analogue and digital alerting in accordance with the POCSAG stan-
dard. It is possible to trigger pagers, sirens and vehicle based radio communication systems (like
FDM.X) with both alerting methods. The emergency services can be alerted with just a few clicks.
IDEA encryption can be integrated into the digital alarm in order to protect against unauthorised
access.
eri
X
.advanced provides high modularity in building automation thanks to various different plug-
in units. It does not matter whether conventional relay technology or networking via EIB/KNX
Instabus is used. An important feature is that building automation is connected by LAN, allowing
every workstation and distributed Touchpanels to control the hardware.
eri
X
.advanced consists of several data interfaces, among these is the XML-based Command
& Control (C&C) interface. This way, these systems can exchange communication and status in-
formation, five-tone, POCSAG and telephony data with
eri
X
.advanced. The «FMS 32» interface
allows you to link additional software programs.
As an option, the I.SEARCH paging and information system can be connected to
eri
X
.advanced
for local notification and alerting. The digital POCSAG standard makes it possible to transmit pre-
defined texts to digital pagers or send any texts to the pagers via email input.
