To Prevent Crypto-Locker Intrusion through(CBT-Locker) UTM .

This are the protection which should be taken care of to prevent CBT-Locker or Critroni Attack or Crypto-Locker Attack from being forcefully enter our network.

1. 
   On each of the policies you must set IPS enabled.
   
2. 
   Create the minimum webfilter profile where you must prevent adwares and malwares.
   
3. 
   Create aminimum Application Control rule and block these following applications:
   
   1. 
      All the Botnet Category
      
   2. 
      Specially block these:
      
      1. 
         Cryptolocker.botnet
         
      2. 
         Tor
         
      3. 
         Torpig.Mebroot.Botnet
         
      4. 
         Tor2web
         
      5. 
         Mentor.Botnet
         
      6. 
         Toxicvector.Botnet.
         

Note: Apply these IPS controls to all of the inbound and outbound traffic policies. Don’t ignore a single one whether it is VPN or Voip policy.
