Demək istəyirəm ki, Azərbaycan çox yaxşı ölkədi, çox gözəldi, култура-mız (mədənniyətimiz)... rəqslərimizdə çox gözəldi. Çox gözəl культура-mız var, bütün... mənim dostlarım, kim azərbaycanlı deyil, hər dəfə baxanda deyir “ah, nə gözəl rəqslərimiz¹* var”, nə gözəl...

El G: Adlarını deyə bilərsən?
S: Bir yallı var. Yallı. Qafqaz...

Yallı rəqsi, adamlar bir круг-a (dairə) dayanır və... götürürlər əllərini yuxarına, yuxara... və ayaqlarınnan balaca-balaca steps, gedirlər круг-а, круг üçün... və sonra... musiqi bir az yavaş başlayır, sonrada tempo ucalır... və tez-tez tez-tez уже круг-nan rəqs edirsən.

El G: Bu qrup rəqsidir?
S: Həri.
El G: Neçə nəfər...
S: Neçə istəyirsən.
El G: So it doesn't matter. (Deməli fərqi yoxdu)
S: Yox.
El G: Başqa bir rəqslərdən... Azərbaycan традиционный (ən'ənəvi) rəqslərdən var?
S: Var. Vaqzalı var, qafqaz rəqsi.
El G: Qafqaz rəqsindən nə deyə bilərsən?
S: Qafqaz rəqsi... честно говоря, mən... mən onu... mən heç biri... qafqaz rəqsinidə mən heç rəqs eliyə bilmirəm, amma belə... bu rəqslərə sən heç ... you don't even have to know how to dance to them... sən просто nətər bilirsən, elədə oynaya bilərsən.

El G: About Azeri dance and…
S: what do I want to say to people? I want to say that Azerbaijan is a very good country, very beautiful, our culture… our dances are also very beautiful. We have very beautiful culture, all… my friends, who are not Azeri, every time they look they say “ah, we have such beautiful dances”… it’s so beautiful…
El G: Can you name them?
S: There is yalli. Yalli. Qafqaz…The dance Yalli… people stand in a big circle and… take their hands up, up… and make small-small steps with their legs, they go in a circle… and then… the music starts a little slow and then the tempo goes faster… and faster and faster people dance in a circle.
El G: This is a group dance?
S: Yes.
El G: How many people…
S: However many you want.
El G: So it doesn’t matter.
S: No.
El G: About some other dances…are there traditional Azerbaijani dances?
S: There are. There is Vaqzali, Qafqaz dance.
El G: What can you say about the Qafqaz dance?
S: Qafqaz dance… to tell you the truth, I… I don’t really know how to dance the Qafqaz dance, but… these dance… you don’t… you don’t even have to know how to dance to them… you can simply dance the way you know how to.
