Kitting
-- Physically combining and storing multiple products into bundle or kit to be sold as a single unit.
Physical combining can be accomplished by banding items together or putting them in a separate box. Can
also include documentation.

Land Bridge
-- The movement of containers by ship-rail-ship, such as on Japan-to-Europe moves where
ships move containers to the U.S. Pacific Coast, rails move containers to an East Coast port, and ships
deliver containers to Europe.
Landed Cost
-- The total cost of a product delivered at a given location; the production cost plus the
transportation cost to the customer's location.
Landing Gear
-- Retracting legs which support the front of a semi trailer when it is not coupled to a tractor.
Leg
-- A leg has an origin, destination, and carrier and is composed of all consecutive segments of a route
booked through the same carrier. Also called "Bookable Leg".
