Introduction to the construction of the turbocharger
Purpose of Work:
To introduce the the scheme of the engine with the supercharger system and the turbocharger construction.
Scope of work:
1. study of the scheme of the supercharging system of a four-stroke turbocharged engine.
2. study of turbocharger construction and its elements.
Equipment, appliances and tools:
The work area should also be equipped with a scheme of the blowing system and a model of the turbocharger.
Sequence of work:
1. Introduction to the following scheme and principle of operation of the supercharging system of a four-stroke turbocharged engine:
1 - gas turbine; 2 - combustion products outlet; 3 - suction pipe; 4 - compressor; 5 - air cooler; 6 - receiver; 7 - suction valve; 8 - outlet valve; 9 - external collector.
2. introduction to the structure and principle of operation of the turbocharger:
Turbocompressor scheme:
1-Compressor impeller; 2-Support-edge pad; 3-Support pad;
4 - turbine impeller; 5 - turbocharger rotor.
3. Specify the type of gas turbine, get acquainted with its structure and principle of operation:
Schematic of gas turbines:
1-shovel; 2-tube; 3-directional device; 4-shovel; 5-housing;
6-guide ; 7-working wheel ; 8-turbine shaft ; 9- output part of the turbine housing ; 10-input part of the case trunk ; 11- shaft ; 12-; 13-; 14- turbine impeller ; 15-flange.
4. Specify the type of compressor, get acquainted with its device and principle of operation:
Compressor scheme:
1 - shaft; 2 - impeller blades; 3 - ; 4 - guide device; 5 - spiral outlet; 6 - suction pipe
Report preparation
In addition, the report should contain a brief explanation of the turbocharger purge system diagram and turbocharger construction, and Table 1 should show the main dimensions of the compressor and turbine turbine impellers of the turbocharger.
