The company generates genome and transcriptome data from clinical tumor samples via 

next generation sequencing. Data are subsequently analysed by the Systems Biology Mod-

elling System a software based technology platform developed at the Max Planck Institute 

for molecular Genetics which is exclusively licensed to Alacris. The system is used to select 

an optimised personalized therapy depending on the genetic and expression profile of the 

tumor. From such profiles and from large quantities of data, patient groups and relevant 

disease biomarker are identified.
