Diploma in Cinematography is a programme that brings students on a journey to discover the art of storytelling through
the craft of lighting and
camera technology. Adopting a practical and theoretical approach, students will develop the competence of a professional cinematographer
comfortable
with the latest equipment, while seeking to advance the art form of Cinema.
The programme goes beyond the cinematographer’s camera to explore the integral peripheral equipment used in the entire cinematography
department. The practical stages of pre-production, production and
post-production are covered, while the theory of image-making is investigated
through film screenings, analysis and discussions.
