STRUCTURED ABSTRACT
Introduction and purpose of the study
The main purpose of this research is to examine postgraduate
theses prepared in Turkey on the use of technology in foreign language
teaching. The research was conducted using a document review
technique, which is one of the qualitative research methods. The study's
study is composed of 79 graduate theses prepared for the use of
technology in foreign language teaching between 2010-2016 and scanned
on the database of ve Yükseköğretim Kurulu (YÖK) Ulusal Tez Merkezi.
In the study of the determined postgraduate theses, "Social Sciences
Research Assessment Criteria Form" adapted from Kırcaali-İftar (2005),
Gay and Airasian (2000) was used. Today, there are many types of
research on the use of technology in foreign language teaching and the
results obtained are shared and contributed to related literature. For this
purpose, researches carried out in the relevant area are mostly carried
out on books, articles, papers or theses. Theses prepared by the graduate
students are written and reported to the academic community under the

supervision and consultancy of the experts and experts in the field of
content and preparation. We have not been able to investigate the current
situation in our country, the subjects studied, and the tendency towards
the technologies used in the country, by examining the post-graduate
theses prepared in our country regarding the use of technology in foreign
language teaching. For this purpose, the research aims to determine the
subordinate aims listed under the heading and aim of researching this
question.
