Problem development status: The following scholars worked on these sphere of science such as A.N. Pismichenko, M.A.Chigashev, M.N.Latu, A.S.Gerda, L.R.Sakaeva, T.S. Kirillova, C.B. Grinev-Grinevich, A.B. Kuvshinova, G.Gerunyan, M.Y.Romanyuk, L.V.Bazarova, A.B. Superanskaya, N.V. Podolskaya and N.V. Vasiliev. All above mentioned greatly contributed to research the current issue and to have deep theoretical base on it.

The object of the study is the construction vocabulary in English and Uzbek.

The subject of the research is the specifics of construction vocabulary in English and Uzbek.

The purpose of this work is to study the construction vocabulary in English and Uzbek, as well as to determine the structure and features of the studied national terminologies.

In the course of achieving the goal of this study, the following tasks were solved:

  to study the basic theoretical positions and approaches that are important for the study of building vocabulary;
  
• 
  to reveal the structural features of construction vocabulary in English and Uzbek languages based on a comparative analysis;
  
• 
  to determine and highlight the subject-thematic classification of building vocabulary in English and Uzbek;
  
• 
  to explore semantic phenomena in the construction industry, allowing to establish semantic relationships between construction vocabulary;
