Chemist-a shop where you can buy medicines. E.g. He bought some medicines at the chemist`s shop

Basement-a part of a building that is below the level of the first floor. E.g. The hardware department is in the basement.

Ground floor-the floor in a building that is nearest the level of the ground. E.g. She lived in the ground-floor flat, with direct access to the garden.

Push-to move something into a different position, usually away from yourself. E.g. He pushed his plate away from him, refusing to eat any more.

Pull-to move something towards yourself. E.g. He pulled the chair away from the desk.

Try on-to put on a piece of clothing to discover if it fits you. E.g. Try on the shoes to see if they fit.

Cost-the amount of money needed to buy. E.g. "How much does this book cost?" "It costs £25."

Receipt-a piece of paper which proves that money or goods have been received. E.g. Ask the taxi driver for a receipt

Pedestrian -a person who is walking, especially in an area where cars go

Entrance-a door, gate, etc. by which you can enter a building or place. E.g. There are two entrances - one at the front and one around the back.
